From its beginning in June, 1996, the global reach of CNKI full-text databases has grown substantially. CNKI now serves more than four hundred universities, public libraries, research institutions, enterprises, and hospitals in more than twenty countries. |

China Academic Journals Full-text Database (CAJ) is the largest searchable full-text and full-image interdisciplinary Chinese journals database in the world, covering over 8,460 titles since 1994 including 5,058 science and technology journals and 3402 social sciences and humanities journals by the end of 2007, article count reached over 25 million. The content is arranged into 10 series and 168 subjects for the convenience of academic research.

| Century Journals Project (CJP) selects the most important academic journals published in China and digitizes all issues since their very first issue up till 1993 in an effort to expand the China Academic Journals Full-text Database. The earliest journal dates back to 1915. The ultimate plan of CJP is to digitize 3,901 titles of journals by the end of 2007, including 2,758 titles of science and engineering journals and 1,143 titles of social science journals. The total article count will be around 6 million.

| Doctor Dissertations Master Dissertations |
| China Doctor/Master Dissertations Full-text Database (CDMD) is the most comprehensive, highest-quality, continuously updated degree dissertations database in China. As of July 2007, the dissertation count reached over 574,000, including 84000 doctor dissertations and 490000 excellent master dissertations . CDMD is the first electronic serial product of its kind in China which has obtained an official serial number and online publishing rights from the Chinese government. |

| China Proceedings of Conferences Full-text Database (CPCD) features proceedings from various academic associations, industrial organizations, governmental agencies, and international bodies in China. By the end of 2007, the accumulated record count will reach 938,000 with an annual increase of 100,000. Like CDMD, CPCD is also an official electronic serial product that contains conference papers hard to be found through other channels.

| China Core Newspapers Database (CCND) collects important news stories from core newspapers published in mainland China since 2000. As of December 2007, the record count will reach over 8 million from over 700 newspapers. More than 1.2 million articles are added to this database annually.

| Yearbook is a type of chronicle almanac which records facts, statistics, activities, events and other national or regional conditions in an intensive, detailed, timely, comprehensive and systematic manner. China Yearbooks Full-text Database (CYFD) collects 1582 titles of world, national, and provincial-level yearbooks, industry yearbooks, subject yearbooks, school yearbooks, enterprise yearbooks and statistical yearbooks, totaling at 8,000 volumes by the end of 2007.

| Reference works are the most fundamental and indispensable resources for knowledge service. China Reference Works Online (CRWO) collects more than 1,500 volumes, including dictionaries, thesauruses, cyclopedias, atlases, illustrated handbooks, chronicles, and so on by the end of 2007.

What's New |
In order to supply better service for users CNKI databases will be upgraded to 10 series and 168 subjects from 9 series and 126 subjects in June. All the users accessing to series G will be upgraded to series G and J so that they can get more articles than before. |
